Mecca Bingo is Rank Group's bingo brand, played online at meccabingo.com and in more than 40 British clubs, with a separate Gambling Commission licence for each side. Online tickets start at 1p in Penny Lane, a room that never closes.
New players who deposit and spend £5 on bingo get a £20 bingo bonus with 5x wagering, plus a £10 voucher that only works inside a Mecca club. The offer terms we read on 5 November 2026 run it from 21 July 2026 until further notice.
Mecca Bingo Licence Numbers Online and in Clubs
Two Rank companies hold the licences, one for the website and one for the halls. Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited runs meccabingo.com under account 57924 on the Gambling Commission public register, and its remote bingo, casino and betting licences there date from 11 March 2022. Mecca Bingo Limited holds account 2396 for the clubs, and its non-remote bingo licence dates back to 31 August 2007. Neither had a regulatory action on record.
Sister brands share the online licence. The register lists 12 active domains under account 57924, among them grosvenorcasinos.com, kittybingo.com, luckypantsbingo.com and meccagames.com. Gambling.com's version of the offer terms still names Rank Digital Gaming (Alderney) Limited as the promoter, a company that is not the licensee on account 57924, so treat any page quoting it as out of date.
Customer balances get medium protection. Clause 14.4 of the site terms, effective 16 December 2025, places player money at the Commission's medium level of segregation and warns there is "no absolute guarantee" of full repayment if the company becomes insolvent. A medium rating argues for cashing out wins as they land. Every online room, from penny games in Penny Lane to 25p games in Emoji Bingo, runs under that same Gibraltar-based licence holder and the same set of terms.
Mecca Bingo Rooms: Ticket Prices, Ball Types and Hours
Penny Lane is the cheapest regular room, selling 90-ball tickets at 1p around the clock. Published starting prices run from 1p to 25p, and the homepage lists 50, 75, 80 and 90-ball formats. We copied every figure below from the meccabingo.com homepage and bingo lobby on 5 November 2026, and we say so where a room shows no price or time:

Best Odds Bingo changes the odds rather than the price. Ten tickets for each of 25 players means no game can have more than 250 tickets in play. The same room is one of four exclusions from the welcome bonus, alongside Deal or No Deal 75, Deal or No Deal 90 and any invite-only room.
Main Event shows how a standard online game pays. Each 90-ball ticket has 3 rows and 9 columns holding 15 numbers, and every game pays three prizes: one line, two lines and a full house. Full houses are also what the clubs put on their session boards.
How a Mecca Club Session Compares With Online Bingo
A club main session lasts about two hours and, at the two clubs we checked, costs £8 to £12 for a pack, while online tickets sell game by game from 1p. The Mecca clubs page says each club runs two core main sessions a day, one in the afternoon with local start times and one from 7pm to 9pm. Prices vary by club and session.
Stockton's timetable on 5 November 2026 shows how a club day fits together. Its afternoon main session ran from 12:30 to 2:30pm with 17 games and five £150 full houses, and the evening session paid five £300 full houses. Both cost £8 for 12 electronic tickets or 6 paper tickets, and the price list climbed to 120 tickets for £59. Blackpool charged more for the same main pack: 12 tickets for £12 in the afternoon and £10 in the evening.
£8 across 17 games works out at about 47p a game. Online, the same 47p buys 47 Penny Lane tickets for a single game with prizes of up to £500. Clubs also sell short books around the main session, such as a 2-page book for £1 and a single Cash Dash game for £1, and both club pages warn that times and prices may change.
First-timers pay £5 for their bingo and a drink, the clubs page says. Staff set up a membership card and welcome pack on that visit, because only members can play in a club. That card has an online use too, since the welcome offer's voucher only works when you show it.
Mecca Bingo Welcome Offer and the £10 Club Voucher
£5 triggers the welcome offer, as long as it is your first deposit and you spend it on selected bingo games. Clause 08 of the offer terms then adds a £20 bingo bonus "subject to 5 times wagering requirement on bingo before winnings are withdrawable", and clause 10 gives you 30 days to finish. Slots players can take 50 free spins at 10p each on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas instead, valid for 7 days. You get one offer, not both.
Five times £20 means £100 of bingo tickets in 30 days, about £3.33 a day. That buys 2,000 Main Event tickets at 5p, or 10,000 Penny Lane tickets at 1p. That is half the legal ceiling, since Gambling Commission rules have allowed no more than 10x on any bonus from 19 January 2026. PayPal and Paysafe deposits do not qualify, and only your first deposit counts.
The £10 Mecca Club voucher reaches you as a QR code by email within 72 hours of the £5 stake, under clauses 15 and 17. Clause 19 lets you spend it on bingo, slots, food or drink. Clause 18 allows part payment for yourself and a friend but gives no change and no cash value, and clause 21 makes you show your membership card with it. If no club is within reach, value the package at £20 rather than £30.
The homepage banner words the voucher differently. It promises it "once you become a Mecca Legend", a phrase the offer terms never use, while clause 15 ties it to the £5 stake alone. The terms are the binding document. Review pages from earlier in 2026 quote bigger packages, such as a £40 bonus and a £20 voucher for a £10 spend in Sportsmole's update of 20 February 2026, and none of them matches the terms in force since 21 July. A second cross-channel deal works in the opposite direction, starting from a club visit.
How Mecca Links Your Online Account to a Club
One club visit plus £20 deposited and staked online within the same calendar month earns Mecca's reverse perk. The clubs page promises "£15 in perks" and lists a £5 all-games online bonus, a £5 slots club voucher "or a £5 Bingo voucher in club". That "or" leaves unclear whether both club vouchers arrive, so confirm the split at the club desk before counting on £15.
The Mecca app now carries the club side too. Version 9.7.0 of "Mecca Bingo: Slots & Casino" on the App Store added a Club area with a digital membership card, vouchers only app users get, events at your local club and food and drink ordered to your table. On 5 November 2026 the listing showed 4.4 out of 5 from about 33,000 ratings, and it needs iOS 15.6 or later.
Rank Group announced this merger a year earlier. Its results for the year to 30 June 2025 said a single cross-channel membership scheme for Mecca was due "in the coming months" and that the My Mecca club app would fold into the main app. My Mecca was still on the App Store on 5 November 2026, at version 5.6.2 with 2.7 stars from 66 ratings, so for now both apps exist. The same results noted the launch of Cash Dash online for Mecca customers, the quick game Stockton and Blackpool play just before each main session. Rank keeps building these links while it shrinks the estate of halls.
How Many Mecca Bingo Clubs Are Still Open
About 41 clubs remain, going by Rank's own figures, and the brand itself is not shutting down. Rank ended June 2025 with 50 Mecca clubs after two closures that year, according to its results of 14 August 2025. iTiger's report of the 2025/26 results, published on 13 August 2026, counts nine more closures of "low-return venues", and the clubs page now claims "more than 40 venues". Fifty minus nine gives the figure of about 41.
Review sites still quote far larger estates. Gambling.com says "over 70 bingo clubs", OLBG "100+ clubs nationwide", and Sportsmole gives 60+, over 60 and more than 70 on a single page. The register lists 61 premises under account 2396, two of them adult gaming centres, which is a count of premises licences rather than of open clubs. Check the club finder on meccabingo.com before you travel to a hall you remember.
The halls that remain pay less tax. The Budget of 26 November 2025 abolished Bingo Duty from 1 April 2026, and on that date Remote Gaming Duty went up to 40%, from 21%, as the GOV.UK note on gambling duties records. On 15 April 2026 Rank reported 5% like-for-like revenue growth for Mecca venues in its third quarter and said they were on track for double-digit operating profit in 2026/27. Online remains the smaller half: Mecca's UK digital revenue was £96.8m in the year to June 2025, against £140.4m from the clubs. Most Trustpilot complaints come from that online half.
Mecca Bingo Withdrawals and ID Checks
Verification comes first, because clause 7.3 of the site terms blocks withdrawals until the initial checks are complete. Clause 7.1 lists the documents Mecca may ask for, from a passport or driving licence to a utility bill or bank statement no older than three months. Uploading them at sign-up keeps the first withdrawal from stalling.
Money only goes back to a payment method you have deposited with (clause 12.1), and clause 13.1 says Mecca never charges withdrawal fees. The terms give no payout time. OLBG reports that most withdrawals are "processed instantly" and reach a bank within 15 minutes, with Visa and Mastercard taking 1 to 3 working days. Gambling.com says payouts are "usually processed the same day, including at weekends". Neither figure comes from Mecca itself.
Trustpilot is harsher. The meccabingo.com page showed a TrustScore of 1.4 on 5 November 2026. Its 3,329 reviews split into 45% five-star and 36% one-star ratings, and none of the negative ones had a company reply. Online play was the subject of nine of the ten newest reviews. One reviewer in October said support described withdrawals as paid in "batches", and another said a £100 win stayed locked after ID was submitted. The tenth complained about food prices in a club.
